Conecxia Enterprises LLP (“Workwalaa”, “we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Workwalaa Worker App
and Workwalaa Client App (together, the “Apps”) as technology enabled platforms to
facilitate connections between workers, candidates, employers, contractors, and clients.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, share, and protect personal data when you
access or use our Apps, website, or services (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy
Policy.
1. Applicability & Legal Framework
This Privacy Policy is framed in accordance with:
- The Information Technology Act, 2000
- The Information Technology (SPDI) Rules, 2011
- The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)
Capitalized terms not defined here shall have the same meaning as in the Workwalaa Terms & Conditions.
2. Roles Under Data Protection Law
- Workwalaa acts as a Data Fiduciary.
- Users (Workers, Candidates, Employers, Clients) act as Data Principals.
- Once personal data is shared with an Employer or Client, such Employer or Client becomes an
independent Data Fiduciary for that data.
Workwalaa is not responsible or liable for how Employers or Clients store, use, or process
personal data after it is shared.
3. Information We Collect
a. Personal Information
- Name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Aadhaar / PAN (where voluntarily provided for KYC or compliance)
b. Employment & Professional Information
- Skills, resumes, qualifications
- Work history and experience
- References
- Ratings, reviews, job preferences
c. Verification Data (Premium Services Only)
For Premium Employers/Clients, and only with user consent, we may process:
- Education verification data
- Prior employment verification data

based on documents or data provided, and do not constitute legal, criminal, or conclusive
verification. Workwalaa does not guarantee accuracy or completeness of
verification results. Final verification responsibility always rests with the Employer.

- Approximate or real time location during app usage (for matching and service facilitation)
e. Device & Technical Data
- IP address
- Device model
- Operating system
- App version
- Diagnostic and crash logs
f. Media Uploads
- Profile photos
- Identity documents
- Certificates
- Work samples
g. Financial Information
- Bank account details
- UPI ID
- Transaction records related to service fees, payouts, or wallet usage
4. Purpose of Data Processing
We process personal data for:
- Providing and operating the Services
- Matching candidates/workers with employers/clients
- Facilitating communication between users
- Processing payments, service fees, and payouts
- Conducting premium screening services (where opted)
- Platform security, fraud prevention, and risk management
- Analytics, research, and service improvement
- Legal compliance and dispute resolution
- Marketing and service related communications
5. Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data is processed based on:
- User consent
- Contractual necessity
- Legal obligations
- Legitimate business interests permitted by law
6. Automated Processing & Algorithms
Workwalaa may use automated systems, algorithms, or technology based tools to:
- Match candidates with opportunities
- Rank or recommend profiles
- Improve platform efficiency
Such systems assist decision making but do not guarantee outcomes.
7. Information Sharing & Disclosure
We may share personal data with:
- Employers or Clients for recruitment or work facilitation
- Contractors for project coordination
- Third party service providers (payment gateways, analytics, communication tools)
- Government authorities, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law
Once data is shared with Employers or Clients, Workwalaa has no control or responsibility
over further processing.
8. Employer Data Misuse
Employers or Clients who misuse candidate or worker data may be subject to:
- Account suspension
- Termination of access
- Permanent blacklisting from the platform
Such actions are at Workwalaa’s sole discretion.
9. Third Party Services
We use third party services including but not limited to:
- Google Play Services
- Firebase (analytics, notifications)
- WhatsApp API
- SMS gateway providers
- Payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay)
These providers operate under their own privacy policies.
10. Cross Border Data Transfer
Some third party service providers may store or process data on servers located outside
India. Such transfers are carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws and
safeguards.
11. Data Retention
- Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes stated.
- Certain data may be retained for legal, regulatory, accounting, or security obligations.
- Data may be anonymized instead of deleted where permitted by law.
